Cape Fear: Directed by Martin Scorsese (8/10)
A great movie that is almost considered a classic. Martin Scorsese takes on a great thriller, which was originally to be directed by Spielberg, and does a great job. Incredible acting from Robert DeNiro; in my opinion, one of his best roles. A great job from Nick Nolte as well. Cape Fear has reminded me of how much I love Martin Scorsese’s work and has gotten me even more excited (which I didn’t think was possible) for Shutter Island, which is only a few weeks away. I definitely recommend Cape Fear to Scorsese and DeNiro fans, who paired up for another great movie with Cape Fear.
If you haven’t yet, try the original with Gregory Peck and Robert Mitchum. I prefer it over Scorsese’s rendition.
